WHAT’S NEW IN 2026

For ConnexFM 2026, we’re introducing a few thoughtful updates to improve flow and comfort.

Quick Connect will be a one-day, extended session held Tuesday, April 21 from 11:00 AM–12:45 PM.

The room layout has been refreshed to support more intentional conversation, along with refreshment areas throughout the room. You’ll also find new improvements designed uniquely for Facility Managers and for Suppliers, ensuring both sides have what they need for a productive experience.

Facility Managers will be asked to check-in for Quick Connect starting at 10:00 AM on Tuesday. We’ll help you get comfortably settled at your table, walk through a quick orientation on how the speed networking will work, answer any questions, and give you time to network with fellow FMs before suppliers enter the room at 11:00 AM.

In addition to your early access Facility Managers will control your own three-minute timer, allowing you to start each conversation when you’re ready and keep the pace comfortable for your style and workflow.

🎯 Arrive with a clear purpose Have a simple sense of what you need - services, regions, certifications, or upcoming project priorities. Even a short list helps suppliers grasp your requirements quickly.

🤝 Lead with your essentials Use the first moments of each exchange to share who you are, what your locations need, and what kind of partner you’re seeking. If the supplier isn’t a match, exchange business cards or tap badges with your SMARTNetworking device and move on. If they are a fit, take note of their booth number and who your point of contact should be. You can follow up on the show floor, during networking events, or even at education sessions.

🗣️ Use a few ready prompts If a conversation needs a nudge, simple questions help move things forward: • “Who are your typical customers?” • “What kind of clients are you looking to partner with?”

⏰ Go deeper if time allows If you wrap the basics quickly, ask about their involvement in the ConnexFM community - how long they’ve been members, or what benefits they’ve found most valuable.

The updated 2026 format features table numbering for easy flow plus an in-hand guide listing attending multi-site companies. You’ll receive the most up-to-date version right before the session to help you map out your approach for inside the room.
